Brad Pitt's real name is William Bradley Pitt and he was born on 18 December 1963 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, USA and was Raised in Springfield, Missouri. He was born to Jane Etta Hillhouse, a high school counselor, and William Alvin Pitt, a truck company owner. Along with his two siblings Doug and Julie Neal, he grew up in Springfield, Missouri. He was raised up as a conservative Southern Baptist who used to sing in the church choir.

Brad Pitt went Kickapoo High School, where he excelled as a member of the golf, tennis and swimming teams, as well as the Key and Forensics clubs. He was also voted 'Best dressed' in his school in 1982. Brad Pitt also regularly participated in school debates and musicals. After his graduation, Brad Pitt attended the University of Missouri in 1982. He wanted to do major in journalism, with a focus on advertising and frequently acted in several fraternity shows.

After discovering his love of acting, in 1986 Brad Pitt dropped out of college two weeks before he could graduate and moved to Hollywood with $375 in his pocket on his battered silver Datsun named 'Runaround Sue'. Fearful of his parents' reaction, he told them he was going to Pasadena to study at the Art Center College of Design.

In California Los Angeles, Brad Pitt took acting classes from the late renowned acting coach Roy London. He earned money for his classes with a variety of odd jobs that included chauffeuring strippers to private parties, waiting tables, wearing a giant chicken suit for a local restaurant chain El Pollo Loco, handing out free cigarette samples, a swimming pool attendant, bus boy and refrigerator boy. This enabled him to secure an agent and get regular acting work in only seven months. Gradually, he began to find his way into television and later to his breakout role.
