His first film role came in 1981, small role in 'Endless Love'. He has produced many movies like Paula Wagner, Without Limits, Vanilla Sky and many more.His first leading role was the 1983 film, Risky Business, which has been described as 'A Generation X classic and a career- maker' for the actor.Cruise also took many unusual roles following Interview with Vampire and Jerry Maguire.
