Today I will tell you about the top 15 Hollywood Celebrity Scandals of last year, 2007. Last year was the year of Celebrity Scandals. There were many new faces being introduced and also many Celebrity scandals revealed. Surprisingly however, it was not just young females who made it into the top 15 scandals, there were some highly regarded older actors and even an authors making notable headlines.


15. Salma Hayek/ Linda Evangelista/ Francois-Henri Pinault

Startling accusations were made that Salma Hayek’s fiancé and father of her baby daughter Francois-Henri Pinault may also be the father of Linda Evangelista’s son, who he previously dated. Pinault has not made a comment since the announcement.

14. Marcia Cross

People were searching wildly on the internet to see where they could find pictures of a naked Marcia Cross in the shower. Someone stole pictures of the Desperate Housewives’ star from her garbage bin. Cross didn’t appear angry, more shocked in fact as she did not believe her body was anything special to look at. Cross, I think many would disagree.

13. Lindsay Lohan/ Vanessa Minillo

Lindsay Lohan was pictured putting a knife to Vanessa Minillo’s throat. Nick Lachey’s girlfriend Minillo and Lohan appeared to be posing but even so it created a huge backlash. Minillo distanced herself from the controversy while Lohan continued to spiral out of control.

12. Rosie O’Donnell

Comedian Rosie O Donnell made an early exit from the View after a massive on air fight between O’Donnell and co-panelist Elisabeth who was previously a contestant on the reality TV show Survivor. Alicia Silverstone was on after the commercial break and went on stage despite telling producers she wasn't comfortable going out there.

11. Harry Potter series revelation

Dumbeldore is gay. Author J.K. Rowling admitted the patriarchal figure of the Harry Potter series was in fact gay. There has always been speculation as to his sexual orientation but Rowling silenced all whispers with this admission. One avid Harry Potter fan was infuriated after having had a full blown picture of Dumbeldore tattooed on his back.

10. Heather Mills

Paul McCartney’s soon to be ex-wife Heather Mills has denied for years she has ever posed naked for adult magazines or videos. Pictures surfaced in 2007 of Mills in a provocative pose with crotchless underwear and breasts exposed. Mills rejects the claim the pictures were of a pornographic nature despite evidence to the contrary. Mills went on a television show recently claiming she was near suicidal after being 'persecuted' by the media.

9. Isaiah Washington/ T.R. Knight

Isaiah Washington was fired from the show Grey’s Anatomy after he made a gay slur about T.R. Knight who plays George on the show. At an awards night he tried to rectify the situation shortly before he was canned. Instead he embarrassed the show and its co-stars by grabbing the microphone and rejecting allegations he was offensive to Knight. Washington played Dr Burke on the medical drama. He vowed he would take legal action against the show and its producers.

8. Owen Wilson

Owen Wilson’s suicide attempt was a shock to many. The comedic actor was found in his home and rushed to hospital after his attempt to take his own life. Recovered, the actor is now back at work but there remains concern for his wellbeing.

7. Alec Baldwin

Alec Baldwin was left red-faced when audio was captured. The phone message heard Baldwin calling his daughter a “thoughtless pig”. Baldwin and his ex-wife Kim Bassinger have been fighting a bitter custody battle. Baldwin subsequently apologised for his rant.

6. Hugh Grant

Hugh Grant already has a bad boy image after he was arrested for having sex with a prostitute in his car back in the 90s. In 2007 Grant was pictured with female university students. The pictures surfaced on Facebook with images showing an intoxicated Grant kissing one of the girls. Gotta love Facebook.

5. Anna Nicole Smith

When Anna Nicole Smith died many weren’t surprised but were deeply saddened. There was huge controversy surrounding how she died. It was believed she overdosed on drugs a few months after the death of her son Daniel. Many accused her lawyer and lover Howard Stern of killing both her Daniel and Smith although there was no proof. Smith left behind her baby daughter, which led to a custody battle between Howard Stern and her former flame Larry Birkhead. A paternity test proved Birkhead was in fact the father and he received full custody with visitation allowed for Stern.

4. Lindsay Lohan/ Paris Hilton/ Nicole Richie/ Mischa Barton

It has been the year for young starlets to be jailed. Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie and now Mischa Barton were all arrested for driving related offenses. Lindsay Lohan went to rehab shortly thereafter to sort herself out. Paris Hilton served a short jail sentence while Nicole Richie was in jail for a mere few hours. Mischa Barton is set to go to court in relation to driving under the influence and possession of marijuana. Will these girls ever learn?

3. Jamie-Lynn Spears

What a mess! Big sis Britney Spears has been in the media all year and then Jamie-Lynn Spears goes and gets herself pregnant at 16. Spears Jr sold her story to OK! Magazine, revealing all about the shock she felt when she found out she was pregnant. Little Jamie is on the hit Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 so there has been some comment from the media as to the effect her actions will have on her adoring fans. The girls’ mother was set to write a book about parenting but to avoid further embarrassment it has been shelved indefinitely. Good idea.

2. Britney Spears

Oops, she did it over and over again. Poor Britney Spears couldn’t catch a break in 2007. From temporary full custody given to ex-husband Kevin Federline, to being mocked by gossip guru Perez Hilton, it seems life isn’t so rosy for the pop queen. Although one YouTube user became famous when he told the world to “leave Britney alone!” it appears she isn’t doing herself any favors. On top of everything else, Spears has been seen traipsing around town without underwear, getting naked in a store, shaving her hair and of course her tragic MTV music awards performance. Let’s not forget how she attacked a paparazzo’s car with an umbrella. Phew, I’m out of breath.

1. Vanessa Hudgens

Good girl gone bad, or was she ever good? That was the question on everyone’s mind when picture after picture of Vanessa Hudgens posing naked surfaced on the internet. The star of Disney’s High School Musical tried to run but couldn’t hide from the media scrutiny following the release of these photos. It was alleged her boyfriend and co-star Zac Efron was the one who leaked the pictures but as they are still together one can possibly assume this may not have been the case. While media outlets commented this may have been the end of her career with the Disney network, Hudgens has announced she will be in the third installment of the popular musical movie.

Hi readers. Welcome to the next section of the blog 10 Hollywood Celebrity Scandals. Today I will acquaint you with 10 more Celebrity Scandals of Hollywood. Yesterday all the scandals I had covered were only related to the death and suicide of the great Hollywood Celebrities. Today I will tell you 10 more scandals and these will be all mixed type of scandals.
Todays 10 Hollywood Celebrity Scandals are:-

1. In 1958, Lana Turner's daughter Cheryl, fearing that her mother's life was in danger, fatally stabbed her mother's former boyfriend Johnny Stompanato, who also happened to be a mobster. The death was called justifiable homicide.
   
   
2. Marilyn Monroe's death in 1962 is still the object of much discussion, most of it centering on the Kennedys.
   
   
3. Director Roman Polanski's wife Sharon Tate was a victim of the madman Charlie Manson, and he was later convicted of statutory rape and fled the country to avoid jail.
   
   
4. Farrell Sues Sex Tape Scandal Model: The New World star Colin Farrell slapped model Candace Smith with a lawsuit for conspiring to sell an X-rated sex tape he made with her friend Nicole Narain.The 29-year-old alleged the model, who was a former Miss Ohio, conspired with Narain to distribute the tape.Farrell's lawyer Paul Berra confirmed that Smith was a main focal point of the case.Narain was also a defendant in the lawsuit according to Hollywood website TMZ.com.Smith appeared as a model on The Price Is Right in 2004 and also had a law degree from the University Law School in Chicago, Illinois.
   
   
5. 'Most Beautiful Woman' Dies at 86': Hedy Lamar, died in 2000.Hedy Lamar, was famous for many scandals, most notably a 1966 arrest in which it was alleged that she stole an $85 pair of slippers. She was cleared of the charges, but that same year, her autobiography "Ecstasy and Me," which was actually penned by a ghostwriter, was published and further tarnished her image. The book gave unsavory details about her love life, even suggesting she was a nymphomaniac.

Actress Lindsay Lohan returned to her wild ways, after she was filmed allegedly snorting cocaine,less than two months after leaving rehab.The troubled star,who claimed to have sobered up after her recent stint at the Los Angeles Wonderland Center, was also reported to have bragged to friends about her sexual exploits with actors Jude Law and Spider-Man star James Franco as she partied at trendy Hollywood nightclub Teddy's. It was also published that time that the act of going to the rehabilitation center, was also a publicity stunt for Lindsay Lohan.
   
   
7. In 2002 35-year-old R&B singer R. Kelly, a married father of two, was charged of allegations that he videotaped sex acts with a 14-year-old girl. But this wasn't the first time Kelly's teenage love affairs made headlines. In August 1994, the singer married then 15-year-old Aaliyah just before her first album Age Ain't Nothing But a Number, which Kelly produced, debuted. But the marriage was annulled a few months later.Then in 1996, Tiffany Hawkins, one of Kelly's back-up singers, sued Kelly, claiming he made her have sex with him when she was 15 in order to keep her job. Kelly settled the Hawkins suit in 1998 for a reported $250,000.In 2001, Tracy Sampson, an intern at Epic Records, claimed in a civil suit that she lost her virginity to a coercive and deceitful Kelly when she was 17.
   
   
8. In 2005 a bitter former hotel security boss decided to breach her confidentiality agreement and revealed all about the celebrities' dirty secrets. Eloise Mohsin worked at the exclusive Phoenix Ritz-Carlton hotel in Arizona from 1999 to 2002, when she left amid a sexual harassment scandal. Mohsin told National Enquirer, that Paltrow once spent the night with pal Sheryl Crow at the hotel. Mohsin also alleged that supermodel Tyra Banks tried to romance Sean 'P Diddy' Combs when the pair were both guests at the hotel, by sending flowers and intimate notes to his room. But the most shocking revelation was a claim that a maid once found a used pregnancy kit in Justin Timberlake's room after Britney Spears spent a night with her then-boyfriend.
   
   
9. In 2005 British newspaper the News of the World, claimed
   that Moss became wildly sexual during cocaine-fuelled parties, and had orchestrated a number of lesbian romps with friends including Sadie Frost and British TV star Davinia Taylor.
   
   
10. Kate Moss had also been accused of trying to seduce a personal assistant (PA) Rebecca White while under the influence of cocaine. Rebecca White, who claimed to have known Kate Moss since 1998, alleged that the British beauty lured her back to her hotel room and fondled her breasts.

Hollywood Celebrities have a very deep bonding with scandals, and this bonding is not a recent one but has been there since the industry started. Today I will tell you about some celebrity scandals in the past and will continue with this scandalized discussion tomorrow also to tell you about the latest ones including the sex tapes scandals.

Following is the list of 10 Hollywood Celebrity Scandals, which is not in any chronological order:

1. In the year 1920, when an actress Olive Thomas died of poisoning, all kinds of rumors surfaced regarding the last few hours of her life, and questions were raised regarding her relationship with Jack Pickford and life insurance policies taken out on her the year before.
   
   
2. In one of the most famous celebrity scandals of the era, actor Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle was accused of rape and murder in 1921, and it ruined his career.Despite the fact that he apparently was innocent, he was railroaded by the Hearst newspapers.
   
   
3. Director William Desmond Taylor was shot to death in 1922. His murder was never solved, and there had been much speculation about the possible identity of the killer, even including luminaries such as Mack Sennett and Rudolph Valentino, but a site called Taylorology has kept the mystery alive, along with a lot of other related material.
   
   
4. Handsome but almost forgotten actor Wallace Reid died in 1923, after a long struggle with morphine addiction brought about by his studio's need to keep him working despite injuries sustained in an on-location accident.
   
   
5. Charlie Chaplin the well known comedian and film-maker was hounded by red-baiters and tax-collectors to the extent that he left the United States and lived in Switzerland. He was also well-known for his sexual activities; one biographer claimed that Nabokov's "Lolita" was inspired by Chaplin's relationship with Lita Grey.
   
   
6. Jean Harlow's life was filled with scandals like, the suicide of her second husband Paul Bern, her relationships with gangsters, nude photos taken at the age of 17, and a reported abortion of a child fathered by William Powell.
   
   
7. Swashbuckling actor Errol Flynn was a colorful and controversial character who liked to drink, fight, and fool around. He was tried three times on statutory rape charges, and was even accused of being a Nazi sympathizer!
   
   
8. Actress Thelma Todd, known as the Ice Cream Blonde, died mysteriously in 1935 of carbon monoxide poisoning, and although her death was ruled a suicide, there were many who thought she was murdered.
   
   
9. Silent film actress Margaret Campbell, was murdered in 1939 by her son with her former husband, German-born actor Josef Swickard. She was sexually assaulted and bludgeoned to death with a hammer. The son was also charged with 2 other murders of a Russian dancer, who was bludgeoned to death, and actress Delia Bogard, who survived the attack. Swickard died a year later from natural causes. He was falsely rumored to have jumped from the Hollywood sign.
   
   
10. In 1950, Ingrid Bergman, after having a child out of wedlock with director Roberto Rossellini, was denounced by Senator Edwin Johnson, who said she should be banned from the country. All was later forgiven.
